It's Not Just Guitar Anymore...
Cranford Guitar and Music Center has expanded and relocated to 56 North Avenue, Garwood NJ. Guitarist Joe
Ferraro founded the Cranford Guitar and Music Center in 1986 and has since provided 17 years of high
quality guitar instruction and new, used and vintage guitars. Now Cranford Guitar and Music Center also
offers drum, piano/keyboard, and computer recording lessons. Their new location provides a spacious and comfortable atmosphere in which to learn from highly qualified instructors.
Joe Ferraro continues to teach guitar and is regarded
by his peers as one of the areas premiere guitarists. Joe began
studying jazz
guitar at the age of 10 and played in his first band, Charlie
and the Tuners, at the age of 13. Soon after, Joe joined the
group
The Fanatics with one of the original members of the 1910 Fruitgum
Company. At the age of 17, Joe founded the popular original band
Thulcandra which opened rock shows for such bands as Kiss, J.
Geils Band, Rod Stewart, Pocol Harum and Deep Purple. At the
age
of 18, Joe pursued a Classical Guitar music degree at Jersey
City State College. Joe toured the East Coast performing with
the late,
great jazz organist Larry Young. Joe's current project is an
original rock fusion band called Prymaxe with Bob Muskus on drums,
Bruce Szczygiel on bass, and Joe Ferraro on guitar.
